The Women’s Division will be headed by Mr. Romy Lakip, who will serve as the Executive Director. “Our aim for the women’s division is simple and mirrors the quality over quantity “boutique” philosophy that we embrace on the men’s side” said Mr. Lakip.

Post High School Romy continued his collegiate soccer at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and BYU-Hawaii in Laie, Hawaii respectively.

Over the past 5 years Romy has gained extensive first hand experience in the agency business as he has worked alongside Massoud Roushandel and Joey Serralta, founders of GESG. While assisting in numerous areas on the men’s side, Romy has been helping manage Jennie Lakip (Romy’s wife and current GESG client). and was very instrumental in facilitating Jennie’s recent move to Liga MX Femenil club Querétaro in Mexico after Jennie spent 2 years playing in Costa Rica, quickly becoming the MVP/top goal scorer of the Costa Rican league!

Out of college, Romy went into business founding numerous successful companies, yet his passion always remained with the sport he loved to play. So combined with the fact that he’s married to a professional female player, helping launch the womens division at GESG was a no brainer. “The agency has always planned to continue representing female players and growing our portfolio of top female clients” said Joey Serralta, GESG Co-Founder. “ By utilizing the same unparalleled, one of a kind global network that we have on the men’s side, that same network will be able provide equal opportunities for our female clients both on the sporting side as well as the marketing and sponsorship side”.
